Oklahoma relief

COUNTRY COMFORT: There were threats of still more severe weather as Blake Shelton and some high-profile pals gathered Wednesday night for "Healing in the Heartland," a benefit for victims of the recent Oklahoma tornado held at Oklahoma City's Chesapeake Energy Arena and broadcast on NBC. But that didn't stop Shelton, wife Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder from performing. Lambert let loose an emotional flood, though, during her rendition of "The House That Built Me," breaking down halfway through the song and evoking a roar of support from the crowd. Special guest (and fellow The Voice judge) Usher appeared at the end to join Shelton on the Michael Buble song "Home." The show, which raised funds for the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund, led the night in the TV ratings, bringing in some 8.6 million viewers.
