Game 6 tops Voice finale

HOOPS EDGE SINGING IN OVERTIME: The Voice season finale on NBC (see item below) drew a 4.3/12—even with last May's finale, but down 12% from the fall season finale—and had 15.3 million total viewers, 3.4 million more than the May finale and the largest total viewership for a Voice finale in the show's history. So said TheWrap after crunching preliminary numbers. Game 6 of the NBA Finals on ABC drew a 6.5/18, down 24% from the early numbers on last year's Game 6, shockingly enough, but the gripping contest still pulled 16.1 million total viewers. Thursday night, even more millions will tune in for Game 7 to find out which of these evenly matched teams will emerge victorious—and to see whether LeBron goes with the headband or not. (6/19a)
