On closer examination, however, we discover that just one of these records—Anna Kendrick’s “Cups”—experienced a sales increase, and it was a modest 1%. To the good, Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” sold north of 300k, but the ubiquitous track is finally beginning to lose a bit of momentum, with an 11% drop-off from the previous week. But in the dog days, 340k is a mighty big bone. See what we did there?
