LN Q2, PDQ (UPDATE): Live Nation released its Q2 results yesterday, and they were well ahead of analysts' forecasts. The company's concert and ticketing businesses saw an 8% boost in revenue over 2012, while sponsorship and advertising achieved a 16% spike. Ticketmaster revenue jumped 3%, with 2% higher ticket volume. The company's stock jumped nearly 10% on the news, adding $1.58 for a share price of $17.90. "We are well on our way to achieving our 2013 goals with strong performance across our core business segments," declared CEO Michael Rapino.
