Top 10 tracks

TOP 10 TRACKS: It was a healthy week for singles sales, with Katy Perry blazing to nearly 450k, Eminem debuting north of 360k, six of the Top 10 entries experiencing week-over-week increases and three others holding steady. Indeed, only Robin Thicke’s long-running “Blurred Lines” slipped, and merely by 3%. What’s more, Thicke’s follow-up, the Princely titled “Give It 2 U,” will soon replace his first smash, jumping #72-17 and moving 84k (+251%). Also picking up steam: Lady Gaga (+31%), coming off her extremely effective VMAs perf; teen dynamo Lorde (+16); Miley Cyrus, whose two tracks totaled 358k; and Drake (+57%), taking up residence for what’s expected to be an extended stay in the high-rent district.

1. Katy Perry, “Roar” – 448k
2. Eminem, “Berzerk” – 362k
3. Robin Thicke, “Blurred Lines” – 244k
4. Lady Gaga, “Applause” – 213k
5. Miley Cyrus, “Wrecking Ball” – 201k
6. Avicii, “Wake Me Up” – 175k
7. Jay Z f/Justin Timberlake, “Holy Grail” – 170k
8. Lorde, “Royals” – 167k
9. Miley Cyrus, “We Can’t Stop” – 157k
10. Drake f/Majid Jordan, “Hold On, We're Going Home” – 141k

On the flip side of this shiny coin, we bid a fond adieu to Imagine Dragons “Radioactive,” which exited the Top 10 in its 58th week of release, slipping 20% to 92k and landing at #15. (9/5a)
