KOL album trailer...kind of

KOL’S PHILLY PHANATIC: In the fun Friday novelty department, Glenn Howerton from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has made what’s billed as an album trailer for Kings of Leon’s Mechanical Bull (RCA, 9/24) starring Danny DeVito and a couple of foot-long Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Howerton, who also appears in the clip, attempts to get the job done without using a note of music from the album or a single shot of the band. While we’re on the subject, have you checked out “Wait for Me,” the second Mechanical Bull track available for purchase? It’s a glorious rock & roll anthem well worth the $1.29 price tag. (9/6a)
