New Politics

"HARLEM" GREAT SHAKES, UPDATE: "You killed it!" Jimmy Fallon shouted after RCA's New Politics performed "Harlem" on his 9/6 show, and he later took to Twitter to praise their "knock out performance." Fallon bandleader Questlove also tweeted about their spot, declaring, "COTDAMN @NewPolitics ... MERCY!" Even if you'd been following the single's progress (Top 10 Alternative, Pop heating up with KIIS leading, and a Taco Bell ad), you'd be forgiven for not knowing how physically, um, exuberant this Danish band could be, particularly acrobatic frontman David Boyd. Now you can see for yourself—and don't try this at home. While we're at it, check out this Fox TV teaser, in which stars of the network's shows bash the drums along with "Harlem." (9/10a)
