Soundscan oops
A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Anyone who checked out the SoundScan Album Chart this morning and saw The Weeknd at #1 should be apprised that SoundScan has since revised its rankings, placing Keith Urban in the top spot. Of course, if you had been consulting the HITS Album Sales Chart, there would’ve been no such confusion, as Urban was #1 from the time our chart closed yesterday afternoon. We would’ve been happy to explain chart preparation to the fine folks at SoundScan, if they had only called us. For future reference, our switchboard number is (818) 506-8800.
