Dr. Murray

HYPOCRITICAL OAF DEFENDS HIPPOCRATIC OATH: "I cried," said Dr. Conrad Murray of his response to the jury's refusal yesterday to hold AEG Live liable for Michael Jackson's death, "because, for once, the world was allowed to hear some of the facts ... that have been suppressed, much of which I was denied and my attorneys could not present during my criminal trial." The incarcerated physician made the remarks in an interview with Today. The decision will have no impact on the doc's criminal conviction, and is doubtless subject to a years-long appeals process. One jury member has said that if verdict questions had asked if the doctor was unethical there might've been a different outcome. In any case, Murray called the jury's determination that he was not incompetent (thus letting AEG off the hook for hiring him) "justice." He then asked if anyone wanted a quick hit of Propofol, noting he'd whipped up a batch in the crapper. (10/3p)
