AD MAN ADDED: Tim Spengler has been tapped to occupy Clear Channel Media and Entertainment's newly created post of President of Content Marketing and Revenue Strategy. Working out of Clear Channel's New York offices and reporting to Chairman/CEO John Hogan, Spengler will develop new media and ad opportunities for the company's myriad broadcast, online/mobile and live platforms. During his nearly 20-year tenure at advertising holding-company colossus Interpublic Group (IPG), Spengler was deemed a "Media Maven" by Advertising Age, a "Media All-Star" by Adweek and Media Executive of the Year (2008) by TV Week. Working alongside Clear Channel execs Tom Poleman, Tim Castelli, Tom Schurr and Matt Martin, proclaimed Hogan, Spengler "will help us redefine what 21st century media and entertainment company looks like and can deliver for its advertising and marketing partners." Company principals celebrated the appointment by diving headfirst into a giant pile of money. (10/21a)
