Gaga to close Roseland

ONE LAST BALL: Lady Gaga will perform the final shows at New York's historic Roseland Ballroom next year, Live Nation announced today. The Interscope superstar, whose ARTPOP should be crowned #1 on the HITS Album Sales Chart in a few hours, will perform on 3/28 (Gaga's birthday), 3/30-31 and 4/2; members of her LittleMonsters.com site will get first crack at the Citi-sponsored residency on 11/21 (a Citi Private Pass presale begins the next day, with general onsale starting 11/25), and attendees will receive a commemorative ticket. Roseland opened its doors in New York in 1919 and moved to its present location in 1956; over the years Fred Astaire, Louis Armstrong, marathon dancers, ice skaters, rock bands, disco kids and ravers have performed and partied there.
