Benny Pough

BENNY JETS UPWARD: Epic ruler L.A. Reid has upped Urban Music head Benny Pough to EVP of the label. The two worked together at Def Jam, and Pough moved to Epic in 2011. Since then, his portfolio has expanded to include working with EVP Marketing/Artist Development Scott Seviour on marketing, digital and PR on the Urban side. His resume also includes stints at Motown, MCA and Arista; he has marshaled campaigns for Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Mary J. Blige, among many other stars, and most recently played a key role in the return of Ciara. In his new role, Benny will also serve as the third member of A Great Big World. (11/22p)
