Top 10 tracks

TOP 10 TRACKS: Since we posted this chart two weeks ago (sorry—we were busy last Thursday), the prevailing trend has been teamwork. A Great Big World and Xtina have elbowed into the thick of the action, notching a 63% gain, by far the biggest jump among the leaders, bringing the menage a trois kissing close to 200k. Another pairing, that of Pitbull and Ke$ha, grabbed the brass ring from hitmaking duo Eminem and Rihanna with a 43% upward move of their own. OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars,” featured in a Jeep commercial, is becoming as ubiquitous as their labelmates Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” was earlier this year, slipping a spot but picking up by 5% to stay ahead of the Dragons’ follow-up. And Katy Perry’s “Roar” will have probably passed 4m by the time you read this. Hopefully, there’s enough spiked eggnog to go around at this penthouse holiday party.

1. Pitbull f/Ke$ha, “Timber” – 237k
2. Eminem f./Rihanna, “Monster” – 231k
3. A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera, “Say Something” – 197k
4. OneRepublic, “Counting Stars” – 175k
5. Lorde, “Royals” – 144k
6. Imagine Dragons, “Demons” – 124k
7. One Direction, “Story of My Life” – 118k
8. Passenger, “Let Her Go,” – 115k
9. Miley Cyrus, “Wrecking Ball” – 99k
10. Katy Perry, “Roar” – 98k

Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” appears to finally be cooling off 23 weeks into its run, slipping to #11. Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” is lighting up, climbing from 27-13 (+67%) on 76k digi-units. And The Neighbourhood’s “Sweater Weather” keeps getting warmer, moving up one slot to #16 on 63k (+8) in week 35. (12/5a)
