iTUNES U.K. CHARTS: Right now in Jolly Olde, it’s all about compilations, which take up six of the 10 slots on the big board, topped by Now’s Christmas collection, with the latest batch of hits from the reliable franchise right below it. All of those “various artists,” plus two more Christmas albums—a spiffed-up chestnut from Michael Bublé and a new collection from Leona Lewis—have squeezed out the garden-variety hits, leaving room only for One Direction and Eminem. 1D also tops the singles chart, which is well-represented by EDM DJs, with Calvin Harris, Avicii and fellow Hollander Martin Garrix all making the scene.
