YOU CAN TAKE IT TO THE BANKS: Banks, the mono-monikered, U.K.-signed but L.A.-based singer/songwriter whose debut EP is just out on Harvest, has just been awarded the #3 slot in the BBC Sound of 2014 poll by Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1. Her “Waiting Game” is track of the day today—it’s being played in every daytime show—and she’s also doing a live on-air interview.
