U2 Super Bowl spot

ACHTUNG, BABIES: After hunkering down with producer Danger Mouse, U2 are poised to promote the upcoming Interscope album. They’ll be the first musical guests when Jimmy Fallon takes over The Tonight Show on 2/17, and earlier this month the band spent a week on a Santa Monica soundstage shooting video footage for a new song that will reportedly be used in a Super Bowl commercial and possibly a longer feature for online. Will the spot have a Beats Music tie-in, and is there anything else in the works? Just askin’. (1/22a)
