TEA

ANYONE FOR TEA? IGA’s overall/TEA run in recent weeks has paralleled Columbia’s frontline domination (see 1/22 chart below), and Aloe Blacc’s surging “The Man” (see next item) gave the House That Jimmy Built just enough to edge out Republic, Columbia and RCA in a four-way scrum at the top of the chart. IGA’s 79k in track-equivalents for its nine top-selling tracks on top of 70k in combined album sales for its six Top 50 entries contributed significantly to the win, though it took the long tail of catalog and lower-charting tracks to secure it.
