iTunes

DOWNLOAD THIS: The iTunes leaderboard is a study in contrasts. The singles side once again gives us the same huge hits we've been seeing for a while, with a slight reshuffling of the rankings. But the Top 10 albums? That's a different story, my digital friend. Apart from the indefatigable Frozen and amped-up Nashville Outsider Eric Church, we're looking at an almost entirely fresh crop of releases. Hip-hop leads, with TDE/Interscope's Schoolboy Q (set for a solid bow on next week's album chart) and Republic's Kid Cudi (who bowed at e-tail last night) taking the top two spots. The highly praised new set from Capitol's Beck is giving fans Morning wood, while Sony Latin's Romeo Santos, Epic's The Fray, Capitol Nashville's Dierks Bentley, Loma Vista/Republic's PoMo chameleon St. Vincent and Capitol Popsters 5 Seconds of Summer also make an impact. Change or consistency; whatever you want, it's here. (2/25a)
