Vibe debuts

BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED: Debuting in our Vibe-Raters roundup are two breakouts from Down Under. Capitol’s Aussie pop-rock lads 5 Seconds of Summer are showing all the hallmarks of a massive smash, as pre-orders of their forthcoming EP (due on 4/1) point toward a 200k or bigger bow. They’ve earned 40m online videos, 5m of which are for single “She Looks so Perfect,” which went #1 at iTunes in 39 countries in two days. In addition to their U.S. headlining dates 3/11-25, which sold out in a flash, 5SoS joins Columbia’s One Direction (with whom they share manager Richard Griffiths) for a ginormous stadium tour starting 8/4. A full-length release is due this summer. Also bowing is Grand Hustle/Island/IDJ’s Iggy Azalea, whose new track, “Fancy,” is getting a ton of early love at Rhythm radio, MTV and elsewhere. She hits the Woodies this weekend and Seth Meyers on Monday. In other Vibe news, ScHoolboy Q remains at #1 and American Authors make a big #9-2 jump. Check out the whole batch here. (3/13p)
