Top 10 tracks

TOP 10 TRACKS: What goes up must come down, but in the case of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy,” it looks like the descent will be in slo-mo. After reaching its apparent apogee last week with an Oscar-assisted 490k, the track has lost 26% of its altitude, but it’s still far above the rest of the field. The other Oscar-boosted single, Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go,” declined by 34%, but it, too, is a long way from hitting the ground and may indeed get a second wind from the high-flying Frozen soundtrack album and incomprehensibly humongous Blu-ray/DVD release. For the second straight week, John Legend’s “All of Me” gave Columbia the gold and silver medals, while the Jason Derulo-2 Chainz tandem once again took the bronze. From there, things get interesting, as The Chainsmokers’ “#Selfie” goes +26% to enter the Top 10 at #6 in just its fourth week, while DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s accelerating “Turn Down for What” vaults six spots to #9 behind a 10% upward move. And after knocking on the door for weeks, American Authors’ “Best Day of My Life” finally barges through it, albeit with a 3% decline.

1. Pharrell Williams, “Happy” – 364k
2. John Legend, “All of Me” – 215k
3. Jason Derulo f/2 Chainz, “Talk Dirty” – 198k
4. Katy Perry f/Juicy J, “Dark Horse” – 165k
5. Idina Menzel, “Let It Go” – 122k
6. The Chainsmokers, “#Selfie” – 111k
7. Bastille, “Pompeii” – 106k
8. Aloe Blacc, “The Man” – 97k
9. DJ Snake & Lil Jon, “Turn Down for What” – 83k
10. American Authors, “Best Day of My Life” – 82k

Racing upward just behind “Turn Down for What” and “Best Day of My Life” is “This Is How We Roll,” Florida Georgia Line’s follow-up to the massive “Cruise,” which went 22-12 on a 37% uptick to just shy of 80k—and it don’t hurt to have good ol’ boy Luke Bryan ridin’ shotgun on this 18-wheeler.
