Sam Smith to appear on SNL
SAM ON CAMERA: Capitol's Sam Smith is set to perform on the 3/29 installment of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Louis C.K. The singer's inaugural U.S. headlining tour, meanwhile, commences this very night at DC's U Street Music Hall, with NYC, L.A., SF, Chicago and other dates scheduled through 4/23. His full-length bow, In the Lonely Hour, streets on 6/17; "Money on My Mind" (currently #13 on the U.K. Shazam Tag Chart) is available as the Instant Grat track with pre-orders. Smith, of course, sings the hook on Naughty Boy's global hit "La La La" (also on Capitol), which is currently #11 on the Shazam USA Tag Chart. (3/21a)
