Em-Rihanna on MTV Movie Awards

THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM: One preloaded highlight of the MTV Movie Awards, airing this Sunday, 4/13, will be the teaming of Eminem and Rihanna for "The Monster," marking the first time they’ve performed their shared smash on TV. Those of you with remaining brain cells will recall that Marshall and RiRi dueted on their previous collab, Recovery’s "Love the Way You Lie," at the 2010 VMAs and the 2011 Grammys. Speaking of which, prior to the release of The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Em told Rolling Stone that “The Monster” was "not necessarily a sequel, as much as it is a revisitation. To me, it's more about the vice, and it's more about the nostalgia." We’d translate that statement if we had any idea what point he was making. On a closely related subject, Eminem has been working with Spike Lee on the video for his next MMLP2 single, "Headlights," back home in Detroit.
