Shazam USA

TAG, THEY’RE IT: Katy Perry’s bouncy new “Birthday” (Capitol) is the greatest gainer on the Shazam USA Top 100 Tags Chart, zooming #147-70. Republic’s Enrique Iglesias dances up 59 spots with “Bailando” (#149-90). Others achieving big vertical movement include “Stay With Me” by Capitol’s Sam Smith (a song that got additional big exposure on The Voice), “Rude” from RCA’s Magic! (#80-45), “Am I Wrong” by Nico & Vinz (Warner Bros.), which ascended #34-14, Epic’s KONGOS and “Come With Me Now” (#38-25) and Capitol’s 5 Seconds of Summer with “She Looks So Perfect” (#49-37). Incidentally, two other songs featuring guest vocals by Sam Smith rank highly: Naughty Boy’s “La La La” (currently #2, behind “All of Me” by Columbia’s John Legend) and Disclosure’s “Latch,” which moves #22-15.
