BEATS WORKING: If the gargantuan Apple-Beats deal closes as expected, Jimmy Iovine will of course substantially enlarge his already sizable fortune (and presumably whatever he stands to earn as Tim Cook's adviser/pop-culture jedi isn't even included). So would Dr. Dre, who, according to The Guardian, is on the verge of becoming the wealthiest man in hip-hop. Lucian Grainge's UMG is also looking at a tasty chunk of change. Initial reports suggest that, given the company's investment and doing the math based on the reported purchase price, it would stand to realize about $400m in the deal. Sweet.
