Solange attacks Jay Z

WHO SAID WHAT? Perez Hilton has released footage from a security camera that appears to show Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z while her sister Beyoncé (aka Mrs. Carter) stands by. The clip allegedly comes from The Standard Hotel in New York following the Met Gala on 5/5. Solange's thrashing figure is restrained by another man, who apparently then presses the emergency-stop button. It's reported that the two sisters left together in one limo, while Jay Z traveled in a separate vehicle. Rumors began flying yesterday morning, causing "#WhatJayZSaidToSolange" to trend on Twitter. A rep for the Standard told Us Weekly, "We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests. We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals to our fullest capacity." None of the parties said to have been involved in the elevator fracas has released a statement. (5/13p)
