Dave Grohl and HBO

LIGHTS, CAMERA, GROHL: Dave Grohl is set to produce and host a reality music program on HBO. The show, expanding on the 2013 documentary Sound City, will involve traveling to and recording at numerous studios worldwide, including Steve Albini's Electrical Audio and Racho De La Luna, which is visited frequently by Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys. Grohl will also interview other artists, including Paul Stanley, Nancy Wilson, Joe Walsh and Ian MacKaye. The series is slated to premiere later this year. (5/15a)
