HIS HOUR DRAWS NEAR: Capitol's Sam Smith is once again on top of the iTunes singles chart this morning—this time with "I'm Not the Only One," the latest instant grat track from his forthcoming In the Lonely Hour (due 6/17). Yesterday the soulful Brit, our pick to rule next year's Grammys, unleashed a duet version of his "Stay With Me" featuring R&B icon Mary J. Blige, the live version of which appears here; the original version is currently #6 at iTunes. Blige, an idol of Smith's, has compared him to such legends as Luther Vandross. Dates for his fall U.S. tour, which commences on 9/15, are selling out quickly. (6/3a)
