5SOS on Today Show, stadium tour

HERE COMES SUMMER: 5 Seconds of Summer have been booked for The Today Show’s summer concert series (fittingly enough) on 7/22. The just happens to be the same day Capitol releases the breakout band’s self-titled debut longplayer. It’s also a week and a half before 5SOS begins the North American leg of One Direction’s stadium tour, which includes two dates apiece at Metlife Stadium in Rutherford, N.J. (8/4-5) and the Rose Bowl (9/11-12), as well as double dates at the homes of the Patriots, Eagles, Lions and Bears. That’s a whole lotta tickets, girls and boys. (6/10a)
