Dre selling house, producing Kendrick Lamar

MAD MONEY: After peeling $40 million for Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s 14,000 square-foot Brentwood mansion, Dr. Dre has put his Hollywood Hills home on the market for a $35 million, Showbiz Spy reports. Dre’s 9,696-square-foot Oriole Way crib has six bedrooms, nine baths, a library/media room, a den and wine cellar. There’s a guest house, a pool and a five-car garage on the grounds, which, according to the listing, have “the best view in the city. Perched atop a promontory…this home has a jetliner 300-degree vista with lights sparkling from downtown to the Pacific Ocean.” Dre reportedly bought the property in 2011 for $15.4 million. The richest man in hip-hop is also working on Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album. Lamar on his second full-length album. "One thing about Dre is you can't take the music away from him," Lamar told Allhiphop.com. "No matter how much money he has, he's going to be right there in that studio. That's before the deal, after the deal, he's always locked in that studio." (6/11a)
