MISREPRESENTED, PART III: You’ll recall our recent item about a superstar act whose discontent with management had led to meetings with other reps behind their current manager’s back. The existing manager learned of the sit-downs and sent tampering notices to the other suitors. The situation is said to be deteriorating further, with the act now openly telling people at their label and pubco that they’re a “free agent.” The manager, however, still denies they’re parting ways.
