DAVE'S BIG MOMENT: They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so we're tickled to see Interscope A&R dude Dave Rene striking a pose with our latest issue (featuring the mug of his boss, John Janick, on the cover; see our recent "Top 5" Q&A with him here) as part of his own mocked-up cover shoot. Dave, one of Rolling Stone's "50 Most Important People in EDM," posted the pic on his Instagram along with a shout-out to Janick and artist Zedd. "I stay on my grind. I don't sleep. This way to the top," he wrote, adding, "S/O anyone who will listen. I love you Jimmy." We're listening, Dave, and what we're hearing is that (a) you're grinding—presumably your teeth; (b) you're not sleeping; and (c) you actually want to be associated with our rancid publication.
