Rising Stars of Promo

HEY BUDDY: The first half of 2014 has seen three promotion execs, WB's Peter Gray, Epic's Todd Glassman and Glassnote's Nick Petropoulos, break out as stars, setting up and breaking new artists at radio. Gray has followed up the Macklemore and Passenger phenoms with the explosion of Nico & Vinz at Pop; Glassman has broken A Great Big World and KONGOS and is setting up newcomer Meghan Trainor for big things; and Petropoulos, who delivered the game-changing Mumford record, has scored a Top 10 hit for Childish Gambino at the challenging Rhythmic format and is preparing to cross it to Pop.
