Kevin Gore's new gig

KEVIN JUMPS ON THE 134 EAST: Yesterday, WMG announced several top-level changes to its catalog division, including the departure of Rhino Entertainment & Global Catalog President Kevin Gore (see item below). Today, as promised, the details of his new job have been revealed. He’ll be President and Chief Operating Officer for DMI Music & Media, working for company founder and CEO Tena Clark. “Kevin brings tremendous integrity, insight and leadership to DMI,” said Clark. “My business partner Jeff Miller and I could not be more excited about his appointment as President and COO. I know that with Kevin’s strategic leadership, the sky is the limit for DMI.” Gore enthuses that he’s “thrilled to be partnering with Tena to grow her company from its established position in the United States into a global agency with a focus on content curation for leading brands… I look forward to driving DMI’s future strategy and execution.” In existence since 1997, DMI has offices in L.A. (specifically a converted firehouse in Pasadena’s Old Town) and Atlanta. Clients include Universal, Disney, Fox, DreamWorks, Target, the U.S. Army, Delta, Cisco and General Mills.
