EYES ON THE PRIZE, EH? The Polaris Music Prize, in collaboration with Shore Fire Media, is about to fork over the annual 30k for Canadian Album of the Year. The 10-album short list of nominees was released today and includes Arcade Fire's Reflektor, Drake's Nothing Was the Same, Timber Timbre's Hot Dreams, Mac DeMarco's Salad Days, Basia Bulat's Tall Tall Shadow, Jessy Lanza's Pull My Hair Back, Owen Pallett's In Conflict, Tanya Tagaq's Animism, Shad's Flying Colours and YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN's UZU.
