POINTED PRICING: It seems the big winners, so far, from the current $5.99 iTunes sale are Warner Bros.’ Jason Derulo and Epic’s KONGOS, who are currently #7 and #11, respectively, on the overall albums chart. KONGOS also have the #18 overall single, the #1 Alternative single (“Come With Me Now” in both cases) and the #3 Alt album. Derulo, meanwhile, is #3 on the Pop album leaderboard. Other beneficiaries of the price point include Warner Nashville’s Blake Shelton and Epic’s Sara Bareilles. In other iTunes news, the newest instant grat track from Capitol’s 5 Seconds of Summer tops the singles chart, while labelmate Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” is #3; Sam’s In the Lonely Hour is the #8 album.
