Spoon "Inside Out"

SOUL MUSIC: Spoon has previewed another track from They Want My Soul (8/5, Loma Vista), “Inside Out,” which Britt Daniel says in an interview with the Guardian is “my favorite song on this record, and it's the most beautiful thing we’ve done… I don’t really know if I can quantify why it’s so good, but for me it pulls your heartstrings in exactly the right fashion.” On their official site, the bandmembers explain that the “Inside Out” clip “uses a bunch of images we created back when we were first putting together the art for the record.” Pre-order the album at iTunes, Amazon MP3 or the Spoon Store, and “Inside Out” magically appears as an instant-grat track. “It's still available at some stores as part of our Vinyl Gratification program too,” the band notes, “so call up your local shop to see if they've got any left.” They Want My Soul is $7.99 at the iTunes store until 8/4.Spoon hits the road week of release, playing San Diego’s Chula Vista Amphitheatre with Arcade Fire on 8/5, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery 8/8 and Outside Lands in S.F. 8/10.
