Shazam

TAG, THEY'RE IT: Songs in celebration of ample derrieres aren't exactly a new trend in popular song, but two recent examples—by YMCMB/Republic's Nicki Minaj and Epic's breakout Meghan Trainor—are blowing up on Shazam's USA Top 100. Meghan's trajectory has been particularly rapid, leapfrogging an amazing #198-106-42-17-8-2 over the last several weeks. Nicki, meanwhile, appears on another big jumper, the new remix of "Flawless" by Columbia's Beyoncé. Big gainers outside the Top 5 include Capitol's Mary Lambert and Warner Bros.' Echosmith. Meanwhile, Def Jam's Jeremih moves toward the top with his "Don't Tell 'Em." On the U.K. side, Kiezsa takes a nice leap to #4 on the overall chart, while top jumpers include a couple of alterna-ballads: The xx's "Angels" (Young Turks/XL) and Ben Howard's "The End of the Affair" (Island U.K.). See what Brits are pointing their mobiles at here. (8/12a)
