Davey Dee gets his stripes

HE’S GOT THE BEAT: Republic has upped David Ingenloff to VP Rhythm Crossover Promotion, label EVP Charlie Walk and SVP Promotion Gary Spangler told the world this morning. Davey Dee, as his BFFs call him, has a list of priorities at the format that includes Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Drake. “Davey continues to flourish as one of the iconic rhythm promotion executives,” said Walk, who can call Ingenloff anything he likes. “His relationships with artists, DJs, mixers, and the community gives him the edge over everyone else.” Nodding enthusiastically, Spangler asserted that Davey Dee’s “knowledge, influence and nickname at the Rhythm format are second-to-none. He has been an integral part of shaping our department to be the #1 marketshare leader it is today.” Davey Dee called the promotion an “absolute honor,” offering his sincere thanks to Walk, Spangler and the Lipmans.
