M5 MAKES THE ROUNDS: Here's Maroon 5 performing "Maps" during Sunday night's VMA spectacular. The band is about to embark on a marathon of TV appearances in support of their new 222/Interscope album, V, which streets next week; Adam Levine and team will hit TODAY (9/1), The Tonight Show (9/2), America's Got Talent (9/3) and Ellen (9/8), while the singer will make a solo appearance on The Daily Show with the returning Jon Stewart on 9/4. The album, currently in pre-order, is currently #10 at iTunes, while "Maps" and new single "Animals" are #10 and #15, respectively, on the singles chart. Levine will also be returning for a new season of NBC's The Voice (and squaring off against rookie coaches Pharrell and Gwen Stefani) on 9/22. (8/29a)
