DASH Radio/DJ Skee FOR AM

A DASH OF RADIO: Well-known TV personality DJ Skee launched a new digital radio platform, DASH Radio, last week. Created by a team of radio DJs and programmers, while backed by industry heavies like Epic's L.A. Reid and more, the service provides the first originally programmed live digital radio network. With new stations scheduled to be launched weekly, DASH has been introduced with an initial fifty. Unlike Pandora or other digital platforms, and more closely related to a concept like iHeartRadio's, DASH is powered like a traditional radio station complete with DJs, program directors, promotions and on-air staff, but while also providing totally original in-house programming and being commercial and cost-free. Breaking the boundaries of typical format-driven stations, the service has partnered with brands like Strange Music, VP Records, XXL Magazine and others to create unique channels.
