Bowie

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING: Columbia/Legacy will deliver a new David Bowie collection, Nothing Has Changed, on 11/8. In addition to gathering hits, deep tracks and rarities from throughout Bowie’s 50-year career, the set—in triple-CD, double-CD, double vinyl and digital versions (tracklists here), with vinyl and digital singles also planned—will boast a new song, “Sue (or in a Season of Crime).” The latter was created with longtime producer/collaborator Tony Visconti; the song will be sold both as a download and as an 11/28 Record Store Day exclusive. Meanwhile, David Bowie is, Hamish Hamilton’s film of the Victoria and Albert Museum exhibit on the rock legend, will fall to earth on 9/23 and screen at 100 U.S. theaters, while the exhibit itself kicks off the same day at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art. You’ll recall the chameleonic icon's The Next Day had tongues wagging in early 2013, debuting at #2 without any prior hype. (9/9a)
