New in Vibe

BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED: Three acts join our Vibe-Raters roundup of buzzing artists this week. RCA's a cappella quintet Pentatonix bows at #2, as their EP PTX, Vol. III sits in the Top 5 at iTunes. The group boasts some 6.5m subscribers to its YouTube channel, and a brand-new clip of their version of Stromae's global giant "Papoutai" has generated nearly 375k views in mere hours; its bow coincided with their knockout performance of Ariana Grande's "Problem" on Good Morning America. Their holiday full-length is already in preorder, and their sold-out U.S. tour runs through next week. SYCO/Columbia's Brit singer/songwriter Ella Henderson, meanwhile, is getting strong early multi-format action on Ryan Tedder-co-penned single "Chapter One," which was 2014's fastest-selling U.K. debut single. Another Columbia troubadour from across the drink, George Ezra, hits U.S. radio with "Budapest" after owning British radio. The song is trending Top 10 at Triple A and seeing early love at Pop radio pre-impact. In other Vibe news, Columbia's Hozier moves into the top spot; Island's Tove Lo also advances. See the whole kit and kaboodle here. (9/25p)
