Amy Doyle new job

AMY DOIN’ WORK: Look for the music departments of MTV and VH1 to be unified under current MTV EVP Music & Talent Strategy Amy Doyle. The move will make the highly regarded and well-liked exec even busier; the multitasking Doyle is the executive producer of the VMAs, launched and oversees the “Artist to Watch” initiative and is renowned for the expertise she applies to MTV’s multi-platform strategy. It will also make MTV-VH1 a one-stop shop for visiting dignitaries. We expect newly anointed VH1 SVP Talent & Music Programming Sandy Alouete to report to both VH1 prexy Tom Calderone and Doyle once the change is made. Given her remarkable track record since coming to MTV in 1999, Doyle deserves her own episode of Behind the Music. (10/9a)
