Ambrosia Healy

CMG SVP PR: Steve Barnett's Capitol Music Group has tapped Ambrosia Healy as SVP, Head of Media Strategy & Relations, announced EVP Greg Thompson, to whom she'll report. In this capacity she'll oversee PR plans for CMG's entire family of labels, including Capitol, Virgin, Motown, Harvest, Blue Note and Astralwerks. Formerly a highly regarded indie publicist, Healy also served at Capitol from 2001-06. Barnett noted that "It takes more sophistication than ever to work with the media and secure the right opportunities for artists, and Ambrosia is remarkably talented and skilled at her job." Thompson recalled working with Healy in her independent capacity on an array of projects over the years, welcoming her "wholeheartedly to the company. In her honor, the CMG commissary will be serving that delicious dessert with the fruit and marshmallows in it—what's that called again?" (10/13a)
