Foos series starts this friday

THE FOO DYNASTY: HBO has just released an extended trailer for the Foo FightersDave Grohl-directed documentary series Sonic Highways, which premieres this Friday. The RCA album of the same name hits on 11/10, and lead single "Something From Nothing" goes to radio on Thursday. The five-minute clip features lightning-quick cameos by Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Chuck D and Gary Clarke Jr., among several others. The Foos also began their weeklong residency on Letterman last night, as Zac Brown joined the band on a romp through Black Sabbath's "War Pigs," which you can throw goat to here. (10/14a)
