Halloran made 91X PD

THEY LIKE MIKE: Mike Halloran has been named PD of San Diego Alternative station 91X, succeeding Christy Taylor (who ankled the Modern Rock outlet two months back). The well-respected radio vet (whose musical knowledge is the stuff of legend) has been the station's afternoon-drive host since 2012, and will continue as an on-air personality in addition to shouldering PD duties. He first joined the station in 1986, when the format was in its infancy, departing in the subsequent decade. (10/14p)
