Cuello to Tunecore

TOTAL CUELLO: Tunecore has tapped Joe Cuello as Chief Creative Officer. In this newly created post, Cuello will oversee the digital distributor/publishing admin firm's branding and head up initiatives, partnerships and special events. He was most recently SVP Music Services at MTV, where he oversaw the integration of music into long-form programming. Tunecore CEO Scott Ackerman praised Cuello as "the ideal choice" and praised his "incredible history of nurturing independent artists' careers," adding that he couldn't wait to see Cuello's MTV mementos, especially the uproarious Wang Chung blooper reel.
