iTunes charts

DOWNLOAD THIS: Lots of changes on both charts this Tuesday, with the Taylor Swift pre-order for next week’s release and last week’s chart-topper Florida Georgia Line the lone incumbents in the Top 10 albums. Add the fact that Swift holds three of the four top rungs on the singles chart, and you’ve gotta figure Scott Borchetta and Monte Lipman are feeling pretty upbeat at the moment. Hozier’s Beats-driven explosion has enabled him to crash Taylor’s penthouse party (the album, #5 this morning, is hanging around at #12), while Gwen Stefani’s Voice platform has helped fast-track her new one. Calvin Harris takes the instant-grat route for his entry. The rest of the leaderboard is occupied by bona fide hits from the usual suspects plus rookie Tove Lo, who appears to be ready for her coronation. As always, it’ll be interesting to see the degree of attrition on the album side, but we don’t expect Slipknot to slip much if at all until Monday, when Taylor’s 1989 hits. (10/21p)
