SCHNUR’S REBEL YELL: EA gunslinger Steve Schnur is being fitted for a 10-gallon hat now that the videogame giant has shifted the bulk of its videogame scoring work to Nashville. “I’m trying to speak out on behalf of Nashville anywhere I go,” Schnur told the Tennessean during CMA Awards week. “In London I was at a game composer conference and talked in depth about my feelings about the musicians of Nashville and scoring here.” Schnur, it turns out, has some history with the city’s indigenous music, having served as the fictional A&R man for the fictional Chris Gaines' album project during the Roy Lott era at Capitol. Schnur was last seen wandering Music Row and asking the locals, “Where can a guy get a good bagel and a shmear in this town?” (11/7a)
