Lady Antebellum now Own the HITS Album Sales chart. The Capitol Nashville/EMI country superstars’ Own the Night debuts at #1 this week with a total of 355k following last year’s Need You Now, which has racked up 3.6 million and counting.

XL/Columbia U.K. mega-diva Adele’s 21 continues its amazing run, with another 120k added to its total now over 3.5 million, and 10 million worldwide for the odds-on Grammy favorite.

Cash Money/Universal Republic hip-hop icon Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV drops from the top spot after two weeks to #3, with 117k more in the coffers.

Big Machine country singer/songwriter Brantley Gilbert, managed by Rich Egan’s Hard8 in a joint venture with Jordan Feldstein’s Career Artist Management, is the top debut at #4, with Apple/Capitol/EMI’s The Beatles 1, in a newly remastered physical release, rounding out the Top 5.

Atlantic rockers Staind’s self-titled effort bows at #6, while Roadrunner’s Dream Theater enters at #8 with Dramatic Turn of Events. MCA Nashville’s George Strait (#7), Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation’s Jay Z & Kanye West (#9) and WB’s Red Hot Chili Peppers (#10) complete the leader board.

Other Top 50 newcomers representing include Ferret/ADA’s The Devil Wears Prada (#11), Megaforce Records’ metal vets Anthrax (#14), Zuma Rock’s BUSH (#17), ATO’s Primus (#18), 4AD’s St. Vincent (#20), UMe’s Alice Cooper Welcome 2 My Nightmare sequel (#21), Equal Vision’s We Came As Romans (#24), WB’s Wynton Marsalis & Eric Clapton (#29), Good Time’s Ben Rector (#35), True Panther/Matador’s Girls (#41) and Sony Masterworks’ Kristin Chenoweth (#47).

Columbia’s Jackie Evancho (#36-25, +69%), thanks to the release of a live DVD and her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, tops the week’s list of double-digit gainers, followed by Lady A’s Need You Now (#49-37, +46%) and Music World’s gospel sensation Le’Andrea Johnson (#25-23, +19%).
